This roller blind features plain fabric that has been specially coated using bacteriostatic and fungistatic agents. This means that organisms are prevented from distributing on the material, keeping the space clean and safe. Tested against three of the most common pathogens, this fabric is tested and effective against preventing these common germs from spreading. Please see our specification for more information.

Our Anti-Bacterial range are made to reduce the build up of mould in damp areas. As these blinds are made from a polyester fabric, you can either have a quick dust or hoover to remove any dust build-up quickly, or opt for a deeper clean. Using a damp cloth with no detergent or cleaning fluid to avoid damaging the print; you can choose to keep your blind up for this or remove from the brackets. In both instances, rehang to allow it to air dry, regularly opening and shutting for ventilation. However, regular usage of the blind helps reduce any build-up naturally.

We no longer offer different types of finishes for the bottom of the blind, so as standard every blind will have a straight finish with a hidden bottom bar to keep the blind weighted.

You simply need to decide if the blind will sit inside the window (Recess) or outside the window frame (Exact). If you're still unsure, view our measuring guide. Fitting a blackout blind within a recess helps you reduce the light bleed that comes around the fabric and components, as your recessed walls act as a natural container for light to bounce off. If you're fitting a blackout blind outside a recess, known as an exact, or bracket to bracket size, ensure you add more onto the width and drop to reduce the light bleed effect. We'd usually say at least 5CM each side, it all depends on your taste and if your window directly faces the sun.

Yes, we provide the necessary brackets, and you will need to find suitable screws/rawl plugs for your wall, generally 15-25mm self-tapping screws and good quality rawl plugs will be what you need.
