Yes! A roller blind is a great, versatile choice for any room in your home. For these special blinds the options are endless, simply change the base fabric to what you need:- Blackout Water-resistant is great for kitchens and bathrooms, blackout for a great night's sleep or rooms with screens like bedrooms, or opt for light-filtering for a stunning finish. All are great for privacy, and you can mix and match the same design with different fabric options for different rooms!

We have chosen to show off these designs by printing on, and providing images of, the design on the blackout fabric base. You can choose to print on either a light-filtering, blackout or the water-resistant fabric!

If you opt for our blackout fabric base, it will do a fantastic job of blocking out almost all the light from your home. Due to the nature of the blind and its components, there may be a small amount of light seepage down the sides, this is standard throughout the blind industry. The blackout or water-resistant blackout fabrics are light-block fabrics, and do not let any let through the material — perfect for a great night's sleep!

Luckily, roller blinds are one of the easiest styles to clean! Depending on your fabric choice we would recommend different options, however for high-traffic areas or rooms with moisture like bathrooms or kitchens we'd recommend opting for the water-resistant blackout fabric option. This base has a special coating that mean the fabric does not retain moisture, and a simple wipe with a wet cloth should remove any marks. For blackout or light-filtering, we would recommend a slightly damp cloth to gently wipe or remove the mark.

To finish the bottom of your new roller blind we use a sewn or welded pocket (dependent on your choice of fabric base) to inset a weighted bar, this avoids any excess swinging of the blind, and gives a neat tailored look to the bottom of the fabric.

Recess blinds usually fit within a window opening, known as a “recess”. To enabled your blind to fit, we take a small deduction off the width and/or drop. These blinds are normally top-fixed to the top of the recess.
Exact size means this will be the final bracket to bracket and top to bottom size with no deductions. These blinds are typically fitted on the outside of the window recess, either face-fixed to the wall or ceiling. For more information about both styles, check out our measuring guide.

Not all walls are made equal, you may be trying to fit your blind to a plaster board, wood or even a metal support. Not all of our products come with the correct screws or rawl plugs, as we don't know the specific type you would require for your home. Though we may provide wood screws, we advise that if you know where you will be attaching your blind, a quick trip to a home or DIY shop should be all you need to get it installed!
