We all know that first impressions count, which is why we pay such close attention to how the exteriors of our homes look! And it’s not just guests and passers-by that we want to impress; returning home to your house after a long day out or at work is all the better when it looks welcoming and stylish. Here are six homes we just know we could stare at all day long. Perhaps you’ll find a little inspiration for your own!

1. Pretty thatched cottage

Homes don’t get much more country than a thatched cottage, do they? We love that this is painted a pale, sunny yellow instead of the traditional cream. It just makes it that little bit more lovely!
