Will this blind be suitable for my room?

Water-Resistant roller blinds are a great choice for any room in your home, especially kitchens and bathrooms, as these are specially designed to not retain moisture. Great for steamy rooms, like bathrooms and kitchens, these fabrics vary from 100% waterproof fabrics as they're not made from PVC. This means an overall softer look to the window, and a more varied pattern choice. Due to the moisture-resistant and low-maintenance fabrics, these fabrics are great for any room in the home. The smooth operating sidewinder chain and fresh, modern look of the clean lines forming this blind will provide a much-loved blind year-on-year.

How much light will this blind block out?

The fabric on a water-resistant blind will reduce a certain level of light, with lighter fabrics letting more light through, and this varies by design and colour. These are also known as dimout or light-filtering fabrics. However, there will still be also be a small amount of light coming through the sides of the blind to allow room for brackets and movement to raise/lower the blind.

How do I clean my roller blind?

These fabrics are fairly low-maintenance, and are designed to ensure longevity of the blind while in a kitchen and bathroom. As most of these fabrics are a dyed poly-blend fabric, we'd suggest wipe clean with a damp bleach-free cloth to sustain the vibrancy of the fabric, and avoid damaging it. Frequent movement of your roller blind should avoid most dust-build up.

How is the bottom of the blind finished off?

We no longer offer different types of finishes for the bottom of the blind, so as standard every blind will have a straight finish with a hidden bottom bar to keep the blind weighted. This bar is hidden within a stitched bottom pocket. Other fabrics may also have a weld-bottom, but ours tend to be securely stitched in place!

Recess or exact size for roller blinds?

You simply need to decide if the blind will sit inside the window (Recess) or outside the window frame (Exact). If your still unsure, view our measuring guide.

Do I need screws/rawl plugs to fit my roller blind?

Yes, we provide the necessary brackets and you will need to find suitable screws/rawl plugs for your wall, generally 15-25mm self-tapping screws and good quality rawl plugs will be what you need.

With our Twist&Fit system, no screws or rawl plugs are needed. In fact, no tools at all are required to install the blind in 30 seconds.
