If your recess depth is 120mm or less or the window opens inwards, you'll be best off with an exact fitting. To do this please follow the 'Exact' measuring method in our measuring guide.
When measuring to fit inside the recess, check for anything such as tiling or picture rails that could get in the way and take them into account when measuring. We normally advise just to measure between any tiling to ensure a nice, snug fit.

Additional Information:

The fabric width is 35-40mm narrower than the overall width of the blind to allow for any control component on the side of the tube (or 'cassette'). We always manufacture the full blind width and not fabric width. If you are fitting one of these blinds outside of a recess, you may want to consider measuring wider to allow for some fabric overlap.
We try to make the measuring and ordering process as simple as possible - so for a recess fitting, we only require the full size of your recess space and we will make small adjustments to enable the blind to fit within that space. We make a 3mm deduction to the width of this blind. If you wish to make your own allowances and do not require us to make them, please select exact fitting and not recess during the order process

What is a double roller?

Double roller blinds offer complete versatility with one blackout roller blind, one sheer roller blind both equipped with individual controls. The sheer voile roller blind at the back of the headrail dims the sunlight while the blackout fabric at the front offers full privacy. Double roller blinds are a great option for nurseries, bedrooms and bathrooms.

What are the controls on double roller blinds?

Double roller blinds are fitted on one headrail with two separate roller blinds that hang in the unit. Each blind comes with a sidewinder control to raise or lower the blind - one on the right to control the blind at the front and one on the left to control the blind at the back.

Due to us offering an universal fixing option, the design of the bracket dictates the position of the control units to be one left/one right. Should you need the controls to be on the same side, please call us on 01484 443790 as we may be able to offer a solution.

Recess or Exact size for my double roller blinds?

If your double roller blind is going to be fitted on the inside of your window then you would select (Recess) If you are fitting outside the window it would be (Exact). For full instructions view our measuring guide.

Can I have one blind up and one down?

Yes, that’s the great thing about the two separate side controls. You can have the blackout fabric rolled to the top and have the sheer voile down to keep the brightness and give you a little bit of privacy or you can have the blackout fabric rolled down for full privacy.

What is a child safety device?

A child safety device will be supplied as standard wherever chains and cords are concerned. The small clear plastic device can be attached to the wall in fitting and will hold the chain/cord in place to give you peace of mind when children and animals are around the window.

Are screws/rawl plugs supplied with double roller blinds?

We don’t supply screws or rawl plugs with out double roller blinds down to the various fixing areas, we do supply the brackets to fix your blind to the wall and most 15-25mm self-tapping screws/rawl plugs will work with our brackets and your fixing area.

Do the images 100% match the fabric?

Our specialist imagery team aim to clearly match the imagery to the blinds. However, screens and resolutions can vary widely and we recommend ordering a FREE SAMPLE for peace of mind.

• Double Roller blinds are supplied as standard with two sidewinder control units - one on the right to control the front blind and one on the left to control the blind at the back. The operation is through a white plastic beaded chain for raising and lowering. Chrome chain is optional at extra cost.

• Double Roller blinds can be side, face or top fixed to the wall or recess space. All brackets are painted white over metal - 110mm width x 110mm length.

• All Double Roller blinds are mounted on a strong aluminium tube - 32mm in diameter. We introduce a 40mm tube for larger blinds where necessary.

• The bottom finish of the blind will be a straight finish. This will be finished with either a stitched bottom pocket or welded bottom pocket; with a plastic bottom lathe, dependant on the suitability of the fabric choice.

• Please note, Double Roller blinds with a width greater than 180cm and a drop greater than 175cm MAY have a horizontal seam due to fabric width / design.

• Please note that the cloth width is 3.5-4cm narrower than the overall product width. We always manufacture based on full blind width not cloth width.

• All items are cut to size and will be accurate with working tolerances and variances of +/-5mm.

• All our blinds are manufactured and supplied to be compliant with child safety regulations. As part of this compliance all control cords and chains will be made to a maximum of 1 metre. If you need to discuss this, please contact us.

WARNING

Young children can be strangled by loops in pull cords, chains, tapes and inner cords that operate the product.

To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of the reach of young children.

Cords may become wrapped around a child’s neck. Move beds, cots, and furniture away from window covering cords.

Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords do not twist and create a loop.
